The Hammond Family Ranch
The happenings of 2009!

Okay, I've been trying to remember to update the website more
often, but it really isn't working.  Looks like I'm managing to do it
w
hen the mood strikes me!

So, what's going on these days?
 We're just loving life in
Fillmore.  Bob works outside most days - moving dirt, building
our veggie garden, spraying weeds - just good 'ol Ranch kind of
work.  I work in the mornings, then spend time doing inside
work - office stuff mostly.  Gotta get my butt outside more!

Bob also continues to try to build our congregation at DaySpring
and travels to Hollister at least once a month to conduct church
services at St. Augustine's.   I continue to love my 1-2 hour a day
job at Dewey Thompson's Auto Parts.  I'm currently Treasurer of
the Sespe Parent Club, and am also Matthew's Webelos Den
Leader.

Meanwhile ...
  • Richard and Katie are busy getting ready for some big
changes!  A move to Clovis AND a new baby - due date
    June 17th!
  • Michael is currently working at Beverages & More as
Asst. Manager in the Salinas store.  He's now living in
    San Jose.
  • Beth is living in Hollister with 2 dogs - Kona and Kenai,
has a job in Monterey, and is continuing with her
    classes at Cal State Monterey.
  • Laura is living in San Jose and pursuing her Masters in
Library Science at San Jose State - a very busy girl these
    days!
  • Matthew is in 4H, Cub Scouts, is playing baseball, and
is in the School Band!  A busy busy boy these days - a
little too busy, but doing well wtih everything!
A Little About What We Do

First, we're Orange Farmers!  Bob and Lisa are co-owners, and Matthew is animal hunter and tree climber.  Osa and Tiger are our
official "orchard walkers" - Osa is in charge of mouse, lizard and fly control, and Tiger, i
s becoming quite the lizard hunter!  We do miss
our Lukey still ...

Bob is also an Anglican Priest with St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Hollister, CA and now with Dayspring Anglican Church in Fillmore,
CA.   A couple of websites which have more information about our church are
www.acahome.org or www.dayspring-anglican.org

Lisa continues to be a stay-at-home mom, but also a bookkeeper for Dewey Thompson Auto Parts (as well , as well as volunteer at
school.  She continues to hold on to her Creative Memories business as well - check out CM's website -
www.creativememories.com).

Sorry, Osa is following Bob around, and Tiger is under Bob's feet, so they aren't able to get on the computer!

And, Mindy Lou is probably in the front yard, unless it's night and then she's in Lisa's office sleeping.  Or, if it's morning she's meowing
LOUDLY to have someone come in and feed and/or pet her (and then let her out!).

Oh, how we miss our most favorite
blond dog.  This photo was the very
last one I took of him.  He lived to a
ripe old age of 13, and we were so
blessed to have had him in our lives.
He sure loved sitting on the swing.
Every time someone sat on the
swing, he'd come and sit on it too,
an then would stay once we left.
A few random pictures ...
